Using an iPhone with SharePod

As of version 3.8.4, SharePod supports the new iPhone / iPod Touch models.

You must have iTunes (or at least AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi and Quicktime.msi from the iTunesSetup.exe package) installed.

What can I do?

• Copy tracks from the iPhone, iPad, & iPod to your PC
• Recover album artwork
• Transfer playlists
• View track details

What can't I do?

• Transfer songs to the device
• Edit track data
• Edit album artwork
• Add/change coverflow artwork

Common Problems

SharePod can't find my iPhone/iTouch

If the iPod has been plugged in for some time, it will go to sleep and disconnect from your PC. To make it reconnect, hit the 'Home' button or unplug and plug it back it. It will make a beeping sound.

Make sure you have iTunes installed and iTunes recognizes your iPhone.
